Longen Moselle, it is the smallest place of Roman Weinstrasse

Longen was already mentioned 770 in a document and counts as one of the oldest places of Roman Weinstrasse. Small, however, comfortably the place works.

As special places of interest count the affectionately restored village chapel which was built 1495 and the anew established village wells beside the chapel. Worth seeing also again in good condition sedate„ Höpperbur wells“ at the edge of the forest of Longen situated.

The municipality celebrates 10th August a well party and you can enjoy good Moselle wine directly from the well.
