Bekond Mosel the place of the wine and the potato

Welcome to wine place and resort Bekond on the Moselle. In the midst of the marvelous, attractive Moselle scenery, in the heart of " Roman Weinstrasse " lies the place Bekond, the Celtic foundation "Baccune" (watercourse).

Here the visitor finds unscathed nature. The old castle of the family kettle town is worth seeing. the impressive manor house was built in 1770 after plans by Ravenstein from a moated castle.

In 2003 Bekond could celebrate his 800 year-old existence. Numerous vineyard surfaces spread from the local position till Moselle valley. Here the Bekonder Krumpernfest takes place all two years. Nevertheless, one knows how to celebrate, supported by the good drops of the positions castle mountain and brown mountain.
