Schoden Saar,
a visit of the fishing party is worthwhile

From woods and Rebhängen surrounded the wine place Schoden with 620 inhabitants lies in a river curve of the Saar.

In the course of the Saar removal to Grossschiffahrtsstrasse Schoden received a penstock with practical connection with the opposite place Ayl - Biebelhausen as well as a Flußgabelung. While the navigation on the Saar canal goes shortening to the north, the natural Saar flows in her original bed along Schoden.
