Oberbillig Mosel

Oberbillig, an old fishing village and skipper's village, he lies 6 kms away from Konz compared with the inlet Crossly. Historically narrowly is connected Super cheap with on the other side of the Moselle recumbent Luxembourgian place Water-cheap.

On account of the decisions of the Viennese congress in 1815 Prussia was attached by the border drawing in Obermosel and Crossly Oberbillig. The direct connection in the German Luxembourgian Obermosel holds even today a car ferry and passenger ferry between both places straight.

Autoferry between Oberbillig and the Luxembourgian Water-cheap. A visit Wasserbilligs only already repays for refuelling. Many gas stations and a mega supermarket in the local edge from Water-cheap in the direction of Luxembourg (moselaufwärts). The ferry is between Trier and waves / Grevenmacher the only possibility to cross the Moselle with the passenger car (on foot and by the bicycle there is still the railroad bridge with Konz).
