Weindorf Kinheim Mittelmosel with the district Kindel

In the big Moselle loop between Traben-Trarbach and Bernkastel lies in the area„ Of wine and holidays area Mittelmosel-Kondelwald“ the wine village of home Kin with the district Kindel. Kinheim-Kindel is one„ accredited resort“.

Long-stretched the wine place cuddles up to the precipitous Rebhänge of the Moselle. The wine village of home Kin with the district Kindel offers a fullness of romantic corners, worth seeing half-timbered houses, old wine courts– but also modern comfortable hotels, restaurants, wine taverns, pensions and holiday apartments which invite for staying.

Also by the bicycle nice excursions can be undertaken by the Moselle valley. From home Kin the Moselle cycle path leads downstream about Kröv to Traben-Trarbach. From Kindel it goes downstream about Wolf to Traben-Trarbach. Upstream one can decide between two cycle tracks. One leads along the shore about Lösnich and earth to Zeltingen-Rachtig. Other zweigt with Lösnich from and leads by the vineyards to Zeltingen-Rachtig

It are same four wine parties / winegrower's parties which take place annually in Kinheim-Kindel: the spring party on the Whitsun week-end, the day of the open wine cellars in Corpus Christi, the wine and streets party on the last week-end in August and the winegrower's party with wine test and culinary specialities on the second week-end in September.
