Graach Mittelmosel: Quiet village idyls

Graach, just 2 kilometers lies directly with the connecting road and still completely from the through traffic with relief upstream behind Bernkastel.

Graach is a historical jewel which disposes with his documentary mention in the year 975 of a more than millennial history. Of 300 meters of high-situated district sheepfarm offers an overpowering look above the Moselle valley, the Graacher wine positions and the place Graach itself.

A sporty walk (to the need also a 5-minute drive ...) opens this experience which should allow to escape itself no Moselle traveler.

The Graacher winegrowers have a quite special relation to„ Steilhang“; about 90% of 100 hectares Rebfläche may dress up with this label - and of course are 95% of the wines Riesling plants with such a famous position. The huge number of the ecclesiastical wine position names already indicates what should a clue for quality to the visitor: the predilection of the high dignitaries of the Church and cloisters for the Graacher Rebhänge. Under the skilled hand of the winegrowers and cellarmen they become that lusciousness which they have made worldwide famous.

The visitor expect a hospitable population, likeable hosts and a catering trade who takes into account all needs of the guests. Wine taverns in quiet, village idyl, inviting wine cellars, private pensions, restaurants and hotels offer everything what the guest wishes. The wide Moselle-prearea in which at every season single dragon's yachtsmen land creates the condition for a huge number of leisure activities which have to act especially with the water: Hinges, water-ski, boat trips - or just walking, riding a bike, in the water are lazy.

And at a place of the Moselle where it is especially nice and especially attractive. Then in the evening the kingdom of heaven, the Domprobst or the abbot mountain provide for the fact that your Moselle vacation, in Graach has satisfied you around.

Graach Wohnmobilpark unmittelbar am Moselufer

Der gepflegte Wohnmobilpark befindet sich in Graach unmittelbar am Moselufer mit Blick auf die Weinberge und bietet Platz für 95 Wohnmobile. Bushaltestelle und Bootsanleger für Moseltouren befinden sich vor Ort. Der Moselradweg ist angrenzend.
Bis Bernkastel-Kues mit seiner idyllischen Altstadt sind es nur 2 km (weitere Informationen in und um Bernkastel-Kues finden Sie unter www.bernkastel-kues.de).
VE, Strom, Toiletten und Brötchenservice sind bereits vorhanden.
Ab Frühjahr 2009 sind Duschen, platzeigene Gastronomie mit Kioskverkauf und eine Erweiterung der Stellplätze in Planung.

Dieses schöne Fleckchen Erde, im Herzen der Mittelmosel, ist immer eine Reise wert!
